Currently we have several openings for Metallurgical Engineers. Experience in
one or more of the following metals processing areas is a must: forge, strip (hot
mills, cold mills, finishing), plate, quality assurance, quality control, tech service,
customer liaison, sales engineer, melt shop (EAF/AOD/LMF), or casting (billet/slab).
The majority of these positions are for in-plant conditions requiring little or no
travel. The tech service, customer liaison, and sales engineering positions require
heavier travel to the customer sites for the evaluation of processing problems and
suggesting of possible remedies, as well as development of product modification to
meet customer requirements. The ideal product experience for these sales/liaison
positions would be in the bar or strip areas, but other areas could also be considered.
